Choose an English level

I have adapted my posts to different English levels. I have also created activities and worksheets to go along with the posts. These resources are available to help English language learners with their reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, and grammar.

Beginner English Learners
CERF: A2-B1, IELTS: Below 4.0, WIDA: 3,Lexile:600-800

Intermediate English Articles
CERF: B1-B2, IELTS: 4-5, WIDA: 5,Lexile: ~900
CERF: B2-C2, IELTS: 6.0+ Lexile: 1010+

Why I chose these levels:

You may notice that my beginner level starts out higher than what some people consider a beginner English level. My beginner English section is for English learners who have learned the basics of English and are looking to start reading (or listening to) multi-paragraph texts.

If you are unsure of which level you should choose, look at the ratings under each picture. I used some of the most popular English scales (CERF, IELTS, WIDA, and English Lexile) to help learners know which level they should choose. You can find out more information about these different English rating scales on Cambridge’s website or English First’s website.
